It’s time for Contemporary Relational Therapy

How Contemporary Relational Psychotherapy helps at this time:

Depression feels confusing. When you come in or connect, we can start talking and find a way through the fog and the haze.  There is a clearing at the other side if you are willing to stay with the process of therapy.  We will look at:

  • How your relationships and childhood felt.
  • View your world and how your environment feels around you.
  • Experiences that inform your approach to people or life.
  • Understand what is comfortable for you in environments and relationships.
  • Explore techniques such as breathing exercises and cognitive techniques (finding different ways to think that can result in an alternative feeling) but also art or music that you might want to explore for focus or feelings of regulation.
  • Look for spiritual, religious and other cultural connections, supports and outlets to find meaning.
  • Support positive ways to work on relationships in your life and feel less isolated.
  • Check in about experiences of depression, emotional pain, overwhelm or anxiety.
